The Sun Fire E6900 Server is a highly-available midrange server scaling up to 24 UltraSPARC IV processors with chip multithreading technology executing 48 simultaneous computing threads.

Ideal for consolidation, data warehousing, decision support and high performance technical computing applications, the E6900 also features Full Hardware Redundancy, fault-isolated Dynamic System Domains, and Dynamic Reconfiguration for hot swapping key server components.
