The Sun StorEdge 9990 system is the 3rd generation of the StorEdge 9900 series providing very high levels of performance, availability, scalability and capacity needed for the largest of data centre environments.
The main component of the StorEdge 9990 system is the Hi-Star crossbar switch enabling the virtualisation of both internal and external heterogeneous storage in a single storage system.
