The 3800 Series offers the performance and packet delivery necessary to efficiently deliver critical network capabilities, including real time applications such as Voice over IP (VoIP), business video and collaborative communications.

• Integrated services support the ability to easily integrate the functions of standalone network appliances and components into the Cisco 3800 Series chassis itself


• Scalable analog and digital IP telephony


• Nonvolatile random-access memory (NVRAM) for storing configuration information


• Flash memory for running Cisco IOS software


• One console port (up to 115.2 kbps), one auxiliary port (up to 115.2 kbps) and up to two USB ports
